Will this carbon fiber intake fit my 2017-2019 BMW 320i or 330i?
Yes. It is designed for the F-chassis 320i and 330i with the B48 2.0T engine. Direct bolt-on fit with factory mounting points. Note: Not for the 2019+ G20 chassis.
Does it require ECU tuning?
No. It works with the factory ECU. No remapping of ECU/DME is required. A custom tune can maximize gains but is not necessary.
What performance gains can I expect?
Dyno testing shows gains of approximately +11 HP and +20 Nm over the stock airbox. Gains vary by fuel quality, altitude, and supporting modifications.
Will it fit other BMW B48 models?
Yes. It also fits F20/F21 120i/125i, F22/F23 220i/230i, F32/F33/F36 420i/430i, and F34 320i/330i GT with the B48 2.0T engine (2015-2019).
Will it trigger a check engine light?
No, if installed correctly. The MAF sensor housing is designed to factory specifications. Always reconnect the sensor properly.
How do I clean the filter?
Use a cold air intake cleaning kit. If it is an oiled filter, re-oil lightly after cleaning. Clean every 30,000-50,000 km depending on driving conditions.
Is installation difficult?
It is a direct bolt-on job. Basic hand tools are enough. Installation takes about 60-90 minutes. Professional installation is recommended.
Does it increase intake sound?
Yes. You will hear more turbo spool and diverter valve sound, especially under acceleration. The sealed airbox design keeps the sound refined.
